Storage: Once herbs are cut, they begin to lose moisture. To maximize the use of your herbs, place them in a pie plate or bowl on your kitchen counter to dry out. After drying, store in a glass jar.
Our Favorite Uses: You’ll find thyme paired frequently with lemon and chicken, with good reason… it’s delicious! But don’t let that limit your use. Thyme is excellent sauteed with zucchini (especially our home grown, picked fresh, HillTop Crate zucchini!), or as a savory addition to an heirloom tomato tart. If you want to explore baking with thyme, try mixing it with some apple slices for a savory take on baked apples. It is also an excellent addition to a wide variety of baked goods including breads, biscuits, shortbreads and more.
